Welcome to the Big Five Club Padel Community
Our padel courts are designed for the enjoyment of all members and their guests. Regardless of age or skill level, everyone should have equal opportunity to play in a respectful and organized environment.
To ensure fairness and proper court availability, the Padel Commission has established the following policies, which may evolve over time.
1️⃣ Sign Up
All reservations will be made through the CourtReserve mobile app.
- Download the CourtReserve mobile app from your preferred app store
- Enter your information
- Select Big Five Club as your organization
- Your account will be reviewed and approved by the Club Office 📞 (305) 223-2818
- Once approved, you may begin booking courts
2️⃣ Court Fees
$5.00 per player, per reservation
3️⃣ Bookings
- Courts may be reserved up to five (5) days in advance.
- Members may hold up to three active reservations at any given time.
- Members may have a maximum of two reservations per day.
- Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
4️⃣ Minimum Players
- Singles: 2 players
- Doubles: 4 players
Reservations not meeting these minimums may be canceled.
5️⃣ Guest Policy
- Guests do not register in CourtReserve
- All guest fees are billed to the member who made the reservation
- Members are responsible for their guests' conduct
6️⃣ General Conduct
- Arrive on time
- Vacate the court promptly at the end of your reservation
- Maintain good sportsmanship and respectful behavior
7️⃣ Weather Policy
Weather-Related Cancellations and Refunds
The safety of our players is our top priority. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the following policy will apply to all outdoor padel court reservations:
Full Refund Eligibility
A player or group will receive a 100% refund when:
- The club closes the courts due to weather conditions.
- Lightning is detected in the area.
- Heavy rain makes the courts unsafe or unplayable.
- Local weather conditions create a safety risk for players.
Match Interrupted by Weather
If play is interrupted after the reservation has started:
- Less than 45 minutes of court time used: 100% refund or full court credit.
- More than 45 minutes of court time used: No refund.
Cancellation Procedure
- Weather-related closure decisions will be made by club management.
- Players will be notified as soon as possible via phone, text message, email, or the reservation system.
- Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, or issued as club credit if preferred by the player.
Non-Weather Cancellations
Player-initiated cancellations are subject to the club’s standard cancellation policy and do not qualify for a weather refund unless the club officially closes the courts.
Management Discretion
The club reserves the right to close courts and cancel reservations whenever weather conditions are deemed unsafe or likely to damage court facilities.
